Grief, Hope, and Action: A Community Ritual

grief, hope, and action: a community ritual with Bonita Eloise FordOctober 8, 2022 (Ottawa).

The Art+ Fall Showcase being hosted by The Multicultural Artists' Coalition and which celebrates equity, diversity, inclusion, and pluralism in the arts. The event is from 4pm to 7pm.

My session starts at 4:30pm and will be outdoors (weather permitting)...

Bonita invites you to join this participatory session. After a book reading from “Embers of Hope: Embracing Life in an Age of Ecological Destruction and Climate Chaos,” she will lead the group in a guided visualisation followed by a community ritual for grief, hope, and action.

While it's natural to feel sad or anxious about the state of the world, as  activists, artists, or neighbours striving for social change, it is important to find hope and take action.

If asked how you heard about the event, please tell them it was from me! Thank you. Reserve your tickets now.
