Looking for Courses or Coaching?

Bonita Eloise Ford and her new book, Embers of Hope: Embracing Life in an Age of Ecological Destruction and Climate ChaosMy services and offerings are changing. To better support the community and to better focus my work, I have decided to only teach, do speaking engagements, and do coaching related to the themes in my book. Embers of Hope: Embracing Life in an Age of Ecological Destruction and Climate Chaos is about learning to cope with and address ecological crises and climate breakdown; it includes starting with self-care, confronting death and ecological destruction, and making choices in our lives to take better care of the life around us. Check out excerpts, testimonials, interviews, and book events.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you do permaculture consulting?

I do not offer consulting services.

I offer personal coaching to support people in coping with and addressing ecological crises and climate breakdown. If you're curious about these themes, I invite you to check out my book, including excerpts and interviews.

Are you still offering permaculture courses?

I had planned two Introduction to Permaculture courses in 2020 and was only able to run one with COVID. With all of the changing restrictions, I found it very challenging last year, so am not planning any courses for 2021 or 2022.

I am teaching when the host already has a course or a series planned, and only if the themes are related to my book. I am not looking venues to run other courses.

Are you planning another permaculture design and Indigenous knowledge course?

Sorry, we do not have any plans for one.

These courses look great, though I have not heard any feedback about them.

This looks like an interesting organisation.

For 2022, Permaculture Association of the Northeast is focussing on the theme of "Uprooting and Unearthing" which includes: decolonization and equity; the role of spirituality and Indigenous traditions in permaculture; the inner processes of learning, reflection, and discovery; and taking responsibility through action.
