Our team of teachers - Sebastien Bacharach, Douglas Barnes, Bonita Ford and Trent Rhode - brings a diversity of experience and background to the institute. Collectively, we have studied with Geoff Lawton, Bill Mollison, Dave Jacke, Brock Dolman, Kat Steele, Christopher Shein, Michael Kramer, Christopher Peck and other teachers. We have worked on permaculture sites and projects in: Eastern North America, Western North America, Australia, Japan, France, India and Haiti. Our expertise includes: organic gardening, composting, green building, alternative economic systems, permaculture design applied to land-based and social systems, and experiential permaculture education. Recently, all four of us gave presentations at the Permaculture Project GTA conference in Toronto in fall 2010. Our team is excited to bring permaculture education with local teachers to Eastern Ontario. We look forward to connecting with you - in the classroom, on the land and beyond.
