People, Power, and Permaculture in Cuba and Beyond

Reflections from the Fall 2013 International Permaculture Convergence (IPC) in Cuba—A Free Online Panel

Since 1984, the international permaculture movement has been gathering to share skills and chart a course for global change. Last fall, permaculturists from all over the world came together in Cuba—where people have first-hand experience of a dramatic transition away from fossil fuels.

Are you a person working so closely with permaculture that you wish you could have attended the IPC? Interested in hearing about the 2013 IPC in Cuba, especially from a social permaculture and social justice lens?

Join us on Sunday, May 4, 2014, from 1-2:30 pm EST (UTC/GMT -4 hours) for a free conference call. Beatriz Arjona, Bonita Ford, Monica Ibacache, Rafter Sass Ferguson and Pandora Thomas will share highlights and reflections from the convergence. Karryn Olson-Ramanujan will moderate, and participants will have a chance to pose questions.
