Join as we plant Sudbury's first community food forest!
Along with planting activities, there will be a series of workshops. The presentations will be approximately 1 hour followed by 2 hours of hands-on planting. For those willing to contribute time to help with maintenance tasks this summer and fall, the workshops are free (we're asking for 3 hours commitment per workshop).
It has been such a delight to facilitate the design of this community food forest: the team has been a dream and the community seems very interested. I went to Sudbury in October 2016 to lead two workshops and a small planting demo to launch the project. The team and I have been meeting monthly via phone conference throughout the winter; it's exciting to see the design taking shape on paper.
If you are in the Sudbury area, please come plant with us in spring 2017!

"[There has been a] huge increase in interest in permaculture in the last decade, the increase in people with varied backgrounds and training levels teaching in different ways, and a demand to meet more needs and bring permaculture to different communities."
